Just a quick post to say that I've started posting my day to day work in progress pictures over on instagram again, https://www.instagram.com/crucium.giger/, though I'll still be posting the finished results on here as usual.
Here's a quick peak at today's Instagram post, the first of the Kushite Witch Hunters (just in need of a matt varnish):
Hopefully I'll have them completed and up on here soon.

Conan: Dragon
Another day and another post, today's miniature is the Dragon from Monolith's Conan game. The design was based on one from the MMO Age of Conan and is supposed to reflect the fact that traditional dragons don't exist within the world of Conan so this takes the giant armoured lizard approach.
As per the rest of the Conan range this has just received a quick table top job so didn't take any time to knock out. Unfortunately the lack of natural light has robbed the images of some of the subtle colouring on the Dragon but I'm happy enough with how this has turned out.
This morning I started on the next miniature, and one of the more interesting ones from the Kickstarter, Yogah of Yag:
"Conan stared
aghast; the image had the body of a man, naked, and green in color; but the
head was one of nightmare and madness. Too large for the human body, it had no
attributes of humanity. Conan stared at the wide flaring ears, the curling
proboscis, on either side of which stood white tusks tipped with round golden
balls."

Conan: Sabretooth Tiger
Two posts in two days and it looks like a third may even be coming tomorrow (though more likely Thursday)! I've obviously hit my stride when it comes to the monsters in Conan as I've managed to knock out the Sabretooth Tiger now, again a decent table top standard done in around two hours all told.
I took the photo this morning so the lighting wasn't the best but again I tried to match the box as best I could within the restraints I've put on myself.
After I snapped this chap I started on the Dragon and pretty much got it finished within an hour (not sure what's in by breakfast cereal these days), I just need to give him a couple of sprays of matt varnish to finish.

Forces of Nature: Mushroom Cottage
Amy has been painting up more than me recently (more on the miniatures soon) and has just finished another great scenery piece from Hysterical Games, a Mushroom Cottage:
Once she has finished the three Shell Cottages and I've painted up the Engineer's Cottage from World Of Twilight we're going to have quite the village!
Conan: Crossbowmen and Demon of the Earth
Well it's been longer than I planned since my last post put Papa Nurgle deemed me worthy enough to receive his blessing on Christmas Eve and I've been out of action since then. However from mid last week the wind was back in my sails so I cracked on with the Crossbowmen that had been sitting on my desk for far to long by that point.
Again these were just a "quick" table top job to get them ready to play, not exactly my best work but far better than bare plastic.
After the length of time those fellows had been on my desk I felt like getting through something quickly so I opted for the Demon of the Earth, a nice miniature we've not used yet but hopefully will do soon. Again I wanted to stick as closely as possible to the art but I went slightly more brown on this one as the Swamp Demon is quite a lush green and I wanted them to stand apart.
For an hour's work I'm quite happy with how he turned out.
I've now moved on to the Sabre-tooth Tiger and managed to get most of the ground work done on it this morning so I'll hopefully have some finished images soon.
