Forces of Nature: The Green Lord and Lady

Amy has finished up two centerpiece miniatures for her army, the Green Lord and Lady.

The miniatures used come from a variety of manufacturers including Scibor, Archon Foundry and Otherworld.

Though they are separate miniatures she's built then in a way so they form a mini diorama (or epic unit!) with the family of deer.

Warhammer 40k: The Black Legion

After having a bit of a painting funk (and playing quite a bit of Uncharted) the mojo returned so I cracked on with the next squad of Chaos Space Marines.

 

These are the original plastics from 1997 (though the monopose Death Guard and Worldeaters were released before these), which I never previously owned.  Despite having a bit of a bad rep I rather enjoyed painting these,, though due to being eBay rescues they weren't quite as crisp as they could have been (too much plastic glue in places).

One miniature that tickled me quite a bit was the one holding the skull, I imagined he was carrying his former friend around who due the the powers of Chaos was still conscious and telling him what to do!
